FROM THE BULLETIN BOARD:-
There is a rumour going round in the TRNC that ……………. (not AIM ) have a company set up here to force the sale/liquidation of Amaranta within 3 months, in order to buy it for the investors of this company. It is also being said that anyone who has not invested in this company will lose their properties/refund money.
If anyone has further information on this rumour can they enlighten us.
………………could you please confirm or deny this rumour as soon as possible as if this is true it is very disturbing.

- We too have heard rumours along these lines.
I have heard that e-mails are being sent out to selected Amaranta buyers offering them the chance to put money into the company in order to purchase the valley cheaply by forcing the sale/liquidation of it. People who have not been invited or cannot afford to invest would then have no entitlement to their property and these properties could then be used to finance the completion for the select few.
We hope there is no truth in this but I believe some people have already been contacted.

Yes, I have been contacted and have also been asked to pay £7500.00 to help finance the buying of Amaranta if it should go up for Auction.
I cannot understand why this should be kept a secret ??? as I know of others who have also been contacted and asked for a sum of money to help finance this project. Why? I ask myself has only a few people been contacted surely all the interested parties should be made aware of this proposal by …………*…………….." WE HAVE NOT HAD A CALL – CAN’T THINK WHY WE ARE ALL AGA VICTIMS, BUT THAT’S NOT IN THEIR INTEREST IS IT – BECAUSE THEN THEY HAVE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE DOUBLE SOLDS AND REFUNDS – WHICH THEY DON’T WANT TO DO – THIS SEEMS TO MAKE THEM AS DODGY AS EVERYONE ELSE WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH!"

Yes, we too have spoken to …*…about this project, if you e-mail ……..*……….your phone number, one of them will phone you (as they did us) and explain what its all about. We do think that it should go on the board for all buyers to see, as this is not something to take lightly, it needs a lot of thinking about, and lots of questions that need answers, and all buyers should have the same chance. £7,500 was quoted for the small bungalows and £10,000 for the larger Villas, so give them your phone number to get all the details, then if it doesn’t go on the board you will know the facts!! – " BUT WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN DOUBLE-SOLD, THOSE WHO WANT A REFUND AND THOSE WHOSE PROPERTIES CANNOT BE BUILT ?"

………………………This is where we all are at the moment. Pay the Contract Tax the we all knew nothing about or you won’t get your judgement and you will lose everything, there is nothing left IN AGA Assets so why pay another £1500, and according to some phone calls we have had, there are others in the background playing some very underhand games involving phoning vulnerable AGA victims and asking them to pay more money with the faint hope that they might get their homes.
Their idea is immoral and involves the ‘We Are Alright Jack’ philosophy and ‘we don’t care who we tread on to get our villas – even if it results in fellow compatriots loosing everything’. When asked about AIM’s involvement (AGA Investment Management) the meeting was told by a the wife of one of the directors of CP Developments, "This has nothing to do with AIM – it’s our own private company "
This underhand idea could also leave the TRNC Government open to lawsuits from everyone who couldn’t afford to pay the £10,000 or so that this group is asking for – that’s akin to throwing more money down the drain. Apparently you don’t even get deeds with this idea (not that clean title is or is ever likely to be available), the deeds will be held in trust by a 5 (?) year old TC Company – C.P. DEVELOPMENTS (?) with 2 UK directors and a TC Director (allegedly with numerous court cases against him already). And also as the rumour goes Kutsel (AGA Director). According to the meeting held by this group, the lawyer allegedly advising this group is also the lawyer for many AGA Victims although the lawyer flatly denies that he is advising them on how to take this route. (lets all play guess the lawyer – same initials as Attourney General we believe ).
Important Information from within the TRNC regarding this alleged takeover by C.P. Developments is also apparently being passed to those concerned by a member of the Amaranta Buyers Committee whom are based in the TRNC.
How true these current happenings are, we know not – but we are being contacted by email and phone calls from people that have been approached by this group asking for our advice on what to do and it has now appeared on the TRNC AGA BUYERS PRIVATE BB !
This is why we are following the lawsuit in the USA route with an up front refundable fee of $300 on a no win-no fee basis. If others think that they can do the same thing if we are successful without paying any monies (and you know who you are) – think again – precedent in the USA is different to that in the UK.
After these revelations and the fact that the Lawsuit is being filed after Easter on April 21st 2010 (ABAG will be in Washington for the filing and flights are already booked and paid for !), it has been decided with the lawyers that a window of opportunity should be opened for any who may have changed their minds and wish to take part.
